Hard cooked eggs aren’t rocket science to make. But finding the right recipe or rather figuring out the right tricks to make them is a process of trial and error. So here are my version of reliable easy peel perfect hard cooked eggs. First in a pot place the desired amount of eggs you would like to cook. Careful not to crack the raw eggs in the pot. fill the pot with water just enough to cover the eggs about an inch. Place over medium heat uncovered until they reach a rapid boil. Once the eggs reach a rapid boil remove the pot from the heat and cover. Let sit for 9 mins. After the time has passed take the pot to the sink and slowly pour out the hot water, while rinsing them with cold water at the same time. Once the hot water is completely poured out take the eggs and enjoy! Hard cooked eggs are a great easy on the go snack. I usually make a half dozen eggs at the beginning of the week. 1 egg is 70 calories.
